Based from our studio in Hastings, our lead designer, Goldie Hawkins, works closely with each of our clients, taking great time and care to discover and nurture their aesthetic and lifestyle aspirations for their project. Our in-house architectural design team at Hawkins architecture boasts many years of experience in creating stunning bespoke architecture across a diverse array of projects and styles, including classical, heritage, contemporary, and cutting-edge designs.
Goldie Hawkins qualified and became an Architectural Consultant in 2016. Her deep understanding of a building's bones and structure enhances her skills and passion for interior design innovation. Additionally, Goldie has always had a love for everything interior and enjoys designing her own spaces, often turning her hand to creating her own artwork whenever she finds the time.
We start by spending time discussing the main factors with you. Such as, what are your wishes, what is of main priority to you, how the space is to be used, your desired scale and personal aesthetic as well as timing and budget requirements.
Once the design concept is clear, measured drawings will be undertaken to ascertain the room layouts, floor plans and elevations.
Detailed drawings will be produced together with 3D visuals as needed. This will include all materials and surfaces as well as bespoke items such as cabinetry, soft furnishings, upholstery, lighting.
You will now have a set of approved drawings to either share with your contractor or work from with us. We can manage the full installation from start to finish together with trusted contractors.
We will endeavour to manage your budget and working timetable to complete the project to your satisfaction whilst overseeing fittings, site visits, meeting contractors and specialist trades. Including, styling and final dressing of spaces.
