FOCUSED
Contract Administration is essentially the day to day running of a project; managing the procedural, financial and legal details throughout it's lifecycle.
It sits at the focused end of our project work; it is the most specific in scope of the three appointments.
The role centres on running the building contract, from the day it's signed through to the final account.
Run in-house by a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer, our contract administration brings cost work and contract management together under one person (rather than being split between a CA and SQ).
BROADER
Project Management is a more advanced role, looking to manage more than just the contract. It gives a wider view of running cost, programme and the team around it.
It widens the scope of involvement across the whole project.
This role involves managing the design team, procuring contractors, controlling cost and programme, identifying risks, looking at alterations and deciding how they're best implemented, and reporting back to you at every stage.
A chartered project manager sees the project as a whole, from feasibility to handover, and makes sure the right decisions get made at the right time.
HOLISTIC
This is the most holistic of our appointments - and the right one for clients on high-value, complex schemes where having someone unequivocally on your side, across every aspect of the project, matters more than the precise division of roles.

All of our project work is led personally by Louis.
Property development was rooted in his childhood, having been on building sites since the age of six, learning how houses are built from the ground up. By the time he qualified, as one of the youngest surveyors to gain RICS Chartership, he'd already moved home 29 times, lived through every kind of renovation, and began building his own property portfolio.
The dual aspect of development experience alongside chartered expertise is what shapes how he works with clients. He understands both sides of every conversation; the design ambition and the cost reality, the contract and the people delivering it.
You'll deal directly with Louis throughout your project. Because we have the architect, the surveyor, the valuer and the project manager under one roof, decisions are made together rather than negotiated between separate consultants.
It is imperative on any project, but especially large scale projects, that the architect, chartered surveyor, valuer, and project manager work cohesively rather than in their own silos. Costs overrun, programme slippage, design changes and contractor disputes are well-known risks within projects of a large size, and they're rarely managed properly until they've already happened.
Our project management work exists to change that, providing the full client side team under one RICS regulated roof.
